WHAT DOES IT COST TO SEE A GP IN DARWIN?
GP Fees in Darwin vary from practice to practice.

Each doctor and medical centre will have a different fee structure. This is because of the widening gap between the inflated cost of living and the amount that Medicare pays GPs.
Currently, there are no 100% bulk billing medical centres left in Darwin. All have moved to a mixed-billing model where you will be required to pay a gap. You may be able to claim this gap from your health insurer.

There may be some exclusions for seniors, children and other vulnerable people though, so check your GP fees with the reception at your medical practice.

FTA/CANCELLATION POLICY
Late cancellations Fees :
We value all our patients and will always try to get you into your GP when you need them. But to do this, we need your help.

A cancellation fee of $25 applies if you can't make it to your appointment. However this will be waived if you contact the practice no less than 2 hours’ before the appointment. This allows other patients the opportunity to pick up your appointment time. Naturally, exceptional circumstances will be considered.

Failure to Attend your Appointment :
If you Fail to Attend your booked appointment, our clinic has a No-Show Policy where a non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be charged to you. We value all our patients and we do have others who could have used that time with our GPs that you booked and did not attend.
