Dr. Rubina is a Specialist General Practitioner and has been in Darwin since 2018. She completed her primary medical qualification at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh. She worked in various specialties in different hospitals in Perth before moving to Darwin. She completed her general practice fellowship training in NT and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.

 

She has a special interest in sexual & reproductive health and skin cancer management. She completed  FPAA certificate for reproductive & sexual health from Sexual Health Victoria and is a member of Australasian Menopause Society. She can assist you with contraception, management of menopause( including HRT), IUD  removal, Insertion & removal of Implanon and prescribe PrEP & PEP for prevention of HIV.

 

She has completed certificate for skin cancer medicine & certificate of dermatoscopy from Skin Cancer College of Australasia and offer surveillance skin cancer check.

 

She is passionate about providing high-quality care for the whole family, from the very young to the very old.
